Cookie policy
Everything Travelistory stores, and what travel brands set once you leave.
This site sets almost nothing. What follows is the whole list, not a summary of it.
What Travelistory itself stores

There is no analytics package on this site. No Google Analytics, no pixel, no heatmap, no A/B testing tool, no advertising network, no social embed. Nothing on Travelistory builds a profile of you, and nothing is sold to anyone.
What happens when you open a travel brand
This is the part that matters, and it is where the site’s income comes from. When you press Get deal or copy a code, a new tab opens at the travel brand’s site through the brand’s affiliate network. At that point:
- The network (Awin, Impact or similar) sets a cookie recording that the visit began at Travelistory, so that a later booking can be attributed. It typically lasts between one and thirty days depending on the brand.
- The travel brand sets whatever cookies its own site sets — session, basket, its own analytics, its own advertising.
Those cookies belong to them, are set on their domain, and are governed by their policies, not this one. Travelistory cannot read them and never receives your name, your email, your booking or your card details from them. What comes back is an anonymous commission line.
If you would rather not
Everything on this site works with cookies blocked. Block third-party cookies in your browser, or use its private mode, and you can still read every offer and copy every code — the only consequence is that a booking will not be attributed here and the brand will keep the commission. The Got it button on the notice only hides the notice; it turns nothing on.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is nothing here for either signal to switch off, because there is no tracking of our own to disable. Both are respected by the simple route of not collecting anything in the first place.
Changes and questions
If an analytics tool is ever added to this site, this table gets a new row before the tool is installed, not after. Questions: hello@travelistory.com. Related: Privacy Policy.
